I mean, sure, it’s a fantasy, but every time I see a story about a dog who was abandoned by his owner, it’s just tragic and sad.

Not one of them deserves to be treated like that, and it’s even worse when they get dumped in the middle of nowhere with no one wanting to help them.

In this story, we will talk about one such dog who was abandoned on the streets by his owner and left to starve.

A Sad Dog Hoping For His Owner

When Tanja Vidergar got a video about a dog living on the street after being abandoned by his owner, she couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.

She immediately found the address and went there to help her. When she got there, she was shocked by the condition the dog was in.

Everyone just ignored her, and only a handful of people gave her some food, but all she wanted was for her owner to come back for her.

However, that was not the case. Vidergar made sure to give her some food, and she seemed to enjoy it.

Afterward, she decided that the best course of action would be to take the dog into her home and then to a veterinarian first thing in the morning.

Mendy Is Slowly Recovering From Her Trauma

She went on to place her slowly into a small kennel and into her car. The dog seemed to relax a little bit after she was finally in a warm and safe place.

After finally arriving, Vidergar gave the dog, now named Mendy, some more food and water before she went to sleep.

Even though she was now in a really good home, she was still a bit reluctant and uneasy around her rescuer.

The next morning, they set a grooming appointment and went to a clinic to make sure she got the proper medical treatment.

Her fur was messy and clumpy, so it had to be taken care of quickly. After they were done with everything, it was time to go home.

She is now living in a safe and warm home with plenty of toys to play with and many activities to do. Her attitude has also improved drastically and she is now more lively.

Mendy was just so happy to finally be off the streets and with someone who will finally care for her.
