He revealed the sad news of his mother’s passing, describing her as more than just a mother but also his rock and guiding light. INGLEWOOD – Grand opening, grand closing. Snoop Dogg’s Tha Dogg House Funko store has quietly closed in Inglewood after being open for one year.
Tha Dogg House was located in a shopping center in the 900 block of south Prairie Ave. at the intersection of Arbor Vitae which sits directly across the street from SoFi Stadium.
All of the stores logos and emblems were removed this week with no notice as to why.
Snoop has had a long-time relationship with the City which made it an ideal location for him to open.
“Being in Inglewood for the past 15 years it’s been a lovely situation,” Snoop Dogg said. “They’ve always held me high because I’ve always done things in the community from coaching football to giving back and being here in general.”
He spoke of how the city is thriving and although he could have opened his business anywhere, but Inglewood is where he wanted to be.
“I spoke with the city before SoFi Stadium was built, and it felt like the best spot to be in,” he added.
Snoop has a clothing store in the same shopping center due in part to the great business relationship he forged with the property owner.
“The owner of the plaza is a cool guy and when I went to get the first store he was very impressed with me and my son, and watching me as a father and a businessman he was on board with what I wanted to do,” Snoop Dogg said.

The store was curated with Funko Pop’s featuring the likeness of Snoop Dogg, Kobe Bryant, and others.
In May, the store was vandalized when a cutout of Snoop Dogg was defaced.

Since then, Snoop has forged ahead with a cereal line he created in conjunction with Master P and announced a new hemp-infused beverage line, Do It Fluid, in conjunction with Death Row Records and Hill Beverage Co.
Low sales are speculated as the root of the problem for Tha Dogg House.

Snoop Dogg joins NBC Olympics team for 2024 Paris Games
Snoop Dogg returns to Olympic coverage this summer as a special NBC Olympics correspondent at the Paris Games, which open July 26.
“Let’s elevate, celebrate, and make these games unforgettable, smoke the competition, and may the best shine like gold,” Snoop Dogg said in a NBC Sports PR release. “Peace and Olympic LOVE, ya dig?”
Snoop Dogg, 52, will speak with NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico during the Paris Games, attend competition, visit with athletes and their friends and families and explore city landmarks. His reports will air on the primetime show on NBC and Peacock.
Snoop Dogg made his Olympic broadcast debut in 2021 on the acclaimed Peacock show “Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg,” which included memorable commentary on equestrian dressage.
This past November, Snoop Dogg met with U.S. Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls at a promotional shoot for the Paris Games.
Snoop Dogg announces younger brother Bing Worthington’s death with heartbreaking tributes
Snoop Dogg’s younger brother has passed away.
Bing Worthington died at the age of 44, the “Gin and Juice” rapper revealed Friday via several Instagram tributes.
The first image Snoop — born Calvin Broadus Jr. — shared showed him smiling with Bing and their nephew, Rollin Carter. “😢😔🕊️🙏🏾,” he simply captioned the post.
A second post included a video of Snoop and Worthington spending time with their family, including their older brother Jerry Wesley Carter, in a cemetery. “@badabing33 always made us laugh 💙🙏🏾😢 u bac with moms,” he penned.
Their mom, Beverly Tate, died in October 2021 at the age of 70. Worthington could be seen presenting her with a birthday cake in one of the photos he shared.
The musician, 52, also shared a family photo in which everyone was smiling and laughing; another picture showed the pair posing as Worthington threw up a peace sign.
“Until we meet again ☹️😔😢🙏🏾🕊️,” he captioned the final tribute.
The sheriff’s department did not immediately reply to Page Six’s request for comment, nor did the star’s representative.
Worthington and Snoop were extremely close and the Grammy-nominated artist even included him in several aspects of his businesses.
“I started from the bottom, I ain’t just become the tour manager, I was just the road guy,” Worthington told Vice in 2016.
“You can’t just become a president without knowing anything about being the president,” he continued. “You have to learn.”
In addition to helping bring entrepreneurial ideas to life with Snoop, such as his skateboard brand that was launched in 2005, Worthington was also involved in his art.
He is listed as an executive producer on the 2003 documentary, “Bigg Snoop Dogg: Raw ‘N Uncut Vol. 1,” according to IMDb.
Furthermore, he helped merge Dogg Records with Canadian hip-hop label Urban Heat Legends, according to Dogg Records’ website.
He even released an album at one point named “Liquid Cocaine” with his musical group, Lifestyle.
