20 dogs were about to be put down at the Clayton County Animal Shelter, that said they had to reduce their population as they could not handle it.

Despite being full of dogs in general, the shelter said that this summer, the levels of the cages were unsustainable!

They shared a post online that they wanted to put down 20 dogs by 1 pm Thursday, if they weren’t fostered or adopted before.
Thankfully, hundreds of adopters went to the shelter after watching a report by WGCL.

This led the twenty dogs to be fostered and adopted before it was too late! How awesome!
