Still making biscuits. I brought his blanket home from the hospital and he’s getting the care he needs in my hospital wing (at home). He’s still not eating on his own, I have to syringe feed him special food. He’s getting IV fluids, IV antibiotics and pain meds. As well as eye medication. Calicivirus sucks terribly. ho looks rough but is in good spirits. This virus sucks! I know his eye looks terrible but we are opening it, cleaning and using so many meds prescribed by the eye specialist. We are taking it day by day. Ugh. @theswiftiekittens said.

Echo was lonely and 2 other kittens came down with the sickness, so he has Mac and Pip keeping him company. I am finding them in a cuddle puddle and I’m hopeful having buddies will help him start eating on his own faster. @theswiftiekittens said.

Echo update. Sorry I didn’t post this morning. I was behind. Anyway. He’s eating great! Are so much he had is mouth open and gave me funny looks after breakfast. His eye is still icky, but we are hopeful. Anyway, not much else to report. Recheck eye appointment tomorrow. @theswiftiekittens said.

Echo has an ulcer on the right eye now. Most likely it was always there but we couldn’t see it because of the conjunctivitis. Continuing treatment but adding in cone of shame. I had to make him a tiny one until the rabbit sized one I ordered comes in. He already got it off once so I used duct tape to tape it together. Let’s hope it stays on. @theswiftiekittens said.
Echo is so happy to have some e-collar free time. He feels great and his eye is healing well. He’s running, playing and eating so well. He hates medication time but we try to follow it up with fun. Thank you for all your donations and thoughts about this sweet little dude. @theswiftiekittens said.
