Upon arrival, one of the rescuers observed the puppies’ friendly demeanor, despite being covered in dirt and likely infested with fleas.
The puppies were quickly taken back to the shelter where they were treated to warm food and a bath to cleanse them of any fleas. At the shelter, their ravenous appetite made it evident to the rescuers that they had been without food for quite some time, as they devoured their meals rapidly. They received a thorough bath, although some stubborn dirt remained. It was decided that a trip to a beauty salon would be the next step for a proper makeover.

Once their grooming session concluded, the rescuers went shopping to gather all the necessary items to ensure Leya and Mia’s comfort.
