Rocky Kanaka, and this time he made the decision to bring a stray dog, to a pet store so he could buy the dog anything he touched.

The dog was excited, to put it mildly, because he had never visited a pet store and didn’t even know what a toy was.

10-YEAR-OLD, OHIO BOY RAISES MORE THAN $315,000 TO PROVIDE BULLETPROOF VESTS FOR POLICE DOGS!

When Leah Tornabene sat down with her son to watch an episode of Live PD five years ago, she had no idea that the path of their lives was about to transform forever.

As the couple watched the drama unfold as police, K9, and criminal came face to face, 8-year-old police officer Brady Snakovsky noticed something was wrong.

Despite the fact all the handlers were wearing protective gear, their K9 counterparts all seemed to be left without. This made no sense to Brady who immediately decided to do something about it.

WITH THE ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT OF HIS DEAR MOM, BRADY STARTED A GOFUNDME PAGE APPEALING TO FAMILIES, FRIENDS, AND ANIMAL LOVERS ALIKE IN HOPES TO MAKE A CHANGE!

Thanks to the generosity of a kind few, Brady soon achieved his first goal and managed to buy 4 vests; it was all donated to fearless pooches at the Ohio State Police Department.

Brandon didn’t stop there, he started attending community events to raise funds and raise awareness, and even wrote several members of Congress asking for their support.

A ‘BRADY K9 FUND’ WAS BORN SOON, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO PROVIDING POLICE K9S WITH THE SAFETY AND PROTECTION THEY RIGHTLY DESERVE.

Having raised over $ 315,000 and supplied vests to nearly 300 dogs, it is safe to say that the organization is doing a fantastic job. Speaking about her son and their journey so far, Leah said:

“I was quite surprised that a child at age eight could recognize that there was an issue and that he could find a solution to fix that problem. It made me very proud to see him doing this.”

Leah also said most people don’t realize that police forces have to rely on donation assistance for their K9 units, so every dollar counts – making Brady’s hundreds of thousands of dollars even more impressive.

And if you think Brady is amazing then, you are not wrong, the intimidating ten-year-old also helped create a dog park in his hometown of Brunswick that is closed one day a week to give police dogs a chance to train with their handlers.

Not surprisingly, Brandon can’t wait to become a cop when he grows up, and while those could be the early days, it seems to us that when it comes to serving and protecting the community, this little hero could only be a man’s job!

Years before he can become one, he already keeps hundreds of dogs and says he hopes to help as many police dogs as possible in the near future.
