Weekends spent alongside a lake, creating lasting memories with your beloved Labradors—now that’s what I call fun! One man in Randolph County, North Carolina decided to make the most out of his day by swinging off a rope into the lake; however, one of his Labrador Retrievers was not too keen on this idea and started panicking.

As what was initially intended as a lighthearted experience, Buster’s owner soon found his pup in great distress. Utterly convinced that something had gone horribly wrong with his beloved human, Buster became increasingly distressed.

Buster began whining, wailing, barking, and running, while the other dog looked on. It was almost as if the dog was saying, “Dad, come out, or I will come get you.”

So that’s exactly what Buster did: He and his Lab pal swam out to “help” their dad to safety. Fortunately, the yellow Lab was as cool as a cucumber the whole time.

After Buster knew his dad was safe, he gladly swam back to dry land. Let’s just hope that this won’t happen again so the poor pup can avoid another harrowing experience! Check out the video below to see how it all unfolded – what an AMAZING ending!
